Case info:

Scott Rush is a young man born in Brisbane Australia and is one of nine Australians arrested in Bali found guilty of attempting to import a total of 8.3 kg of heroin from Indonesia to Australia. It was Scott's first trip to Bali and he was 19 years old at the time of his arrest. On February 13, 2006, Scott Rush appeared in court for sentencing. He was sentenced to life imprisonment but appealed his sentence, and on September 6, 2006, his sentence was upgraded to the death penalty.

In May 2011, Scott's death sentence was commuted to a life sentence.
